RITCHIE BROS AUCTIONEERS I purchase new unused 2015 wildkat skidsteer backhoe ,attachment, first time I used bucket collapsed very thin metal. Only manufactured to sell at Ritchi Bros Auction. They will not stand behind this item that cannot be used as advertised Nationwide

I purchased a new and unused Wildkat Skidsteer Backhoe attachment from the Ritchie Bros Auction online. Mid-State Equipment manufactures these Backhoe attachments only for sale to Ritchie Bros Auctions. These are not sold retail by Mid-State Equipment with the other Wildkat Attachments that they do sell publicly.
The very first time I tried to use this backhoe attachment was in my yard, no rocks! The bucket colapsed. Please look at the pictures and see how this is a very thin double wall metal. Nothing like any other equopment bucket I have ever seen.
Obviously this item cannot be used to dig, which makes it absolutely useless. Ritchie Bros company stance is that all items are as is where is no warranty. I completely understand that, however if it were sold as a skid steer attachment with cyliner not as a backhoe.
They will not refund, they will not replace the bucket, they will not help.
Do not waste your money or time buying items like this from Ritchie Bros Auctions.

They worked with the manufacturer and resolved the issue.

Although not technically or legally liable for the problem that I was experiencing, management did address the issue and worked with the manufacturer to resolve the problem.
