Complaint Review: Rob Thomas claims to represent Valerie Harper - Internet California

If he is legit, why did he spazz out when some consumer asked a question in reference to  the security of his email address or website for that matter? What this person was trying to relay is that for this man to become all wigged out because she just asked a legitimate question before giving this man any money is very understandable. He flips out and falsely accuses this fan of of being an "alarmist" or a "troll" on Twitter. Then she replies in defense to this person that they believe he is promoting a scam, and is reporting him to the proper officials. This man calls this person's home, based on the contact info she submitted initially before this happened. He says he is Valerie's assistant, and they do not want to seek legal action if they do not have to. So, he offers a peace offering to shut her up, and she declines - why? Because this man had a group of people that he somehow rallied together like some witch hunt, and harrass her on her blogs all over the internet with nasty comments, that was very disturbing. Many people have come forward and cannot understand how a celebrity that the media is saying she is "one of the nicest" has not come forward and personally apologized to her. There is also a possibility they don't think Valerie knows about this. I think it's time Valerie Harper knows the truth!

As for Michael Roman and Rob Thomas, shame on you! Shame on you Michael, for getting involved in this, when this should have only been an issue between Ms. Becky, Mr. Thomas and Ms. Harper. No one should have been involved in the first place, and for Mr. Thomas to drag her through hell on Twitter and worse have some other people say hateful things in comments to her blog is just disgraceful! Again it is time Ms. Harper deserves to know the truth. The rest of everyone else should butt out and mind your own business.

I am a member of the SAG. If he represents Ms. Harper, she should be ashamed of herself for depending on this joker and professional affairs. My girlfriend is currently working on the set of one of Ms. Harper's latest projects, she's also an assistant of sorts to all on the set. I am sure she will have plenty to discuss with Ms. Harper about this issue. Robert Thomas has kept her out of the loop on this, so Ms. Harper will be made aware of this situation.

Rob is getting forgetful, or maybe has too many orders to keep up. Where is my book?!? I ordered your book, you never replied. What happened to my personal data? I knew this offer was too good to be true. I have alerted my credit card company to keep a watch on my card. I suggest everyone who gave this man their identity info do the same.

There are people who are hired to log into celebrity websites to Tweet their tweets to their fans.. So in essence, Rob Thomas is the one who does all of her media online. There is no way to authenticate if the autographs are legitimate, and that is very sad. No one, not even someone who claims to be from the press, or daughter can validate this for all of us. The only way we can be certain Valerie is in fact signing these books, is if we were there to witness her signing. I am appalled that this man is capitalizing on her cancer. I am pleased that people have come forward, such as myself, and admitted that this man is a con and he needs to be stopped!

I have to say, there is no way these signatures are legit. No way! These autographs are being signed by Valerie Harper's assistant Rob Thomas, not Valerie Harper herself.

This is false advertisement, and is misleading to her fans!

Becky, here is a link to a Yahoo Group discussion on which Rob Thomas was representing Valerie Harper way back in July 2000.  Do you really believe it's more likely that he's been running a scam for 12 years, or that he's really Valerie Harper's webmaster, like he says?

If they want to seek legal action against me they can try! Anyone can sue anyone, anywhere, but if they can prove it, and make it stick in court, that is another!

I doubt Valerie wants to spend her last days, months, year(s) battling this out in court. I do not think Valerie Harper is even aware of this is happening. As far as I am concerned, if you or anyone else has anything to say to me, you speak to my attorney! I will gladly give you his phone number. Rob has my contact info, if you need it.

I don't owe you "Michael" any explanations!

I don't even know where to begin in commenting on this ridiculous manifesto of trash.

I am an entertainment reporter and professional photographer who has dealt with Valerie Harper's representative, Rob Thomas, on many occasions. Mr. Thomas is 100% legit.

Let's start with a basic lesson on names. Did you know that both Rob and Bob are derivatives of the name Robert? Sorry to blow your "conspiracy theory" but most people know this by the time they reach the 5th grade.

The only reason I found this report is due to the fact that my Web site tracks who people are searching for on my site Simply s****.>
If I were Mr. Thomas, I'd have ALL of you in court on defamation charges. This load of speculative, inaccurate nonsense should be removed immediately. 

Not only are you defaming a stand-up, legitimate businessman -- but by default -- you are defaming Valerie Harper during what must be the most difficult period of her entire life.

Unless you have deep pockets to pay for legal fees, I suggest you delete this report.  And get your facts straight before you wrongly and crazily shoot off your mouth again.
