Call Discover Credit Card customer service IMMEDIATELY, ask for their dispute department, and dispute the credit card charge. You will be able to get a full credit for a dispute that you file within 6 months of the charge. I also paid via Discover Card, (was ripped off for over $7,000.), but I did not know Robele closed its doors until 6 1/2 months after I paid them. The statute of limitations to dispute a charge is 6 months; after that you have to rely on Robele granting you a refund and I do not hold much hope for that. Discover gave me a temporary credit, but if Robele does not grant a refund that money may be charged back to my account. This is ongoing, so when the decision becomes final, I'll post again. I also filed a fraud complaint with the FBI site listed in one of the other postings for Robele on this website.

I would be interested in organizing a class action lawsuit against Robele. What we need to do is prove that fraud has taken place, which as I understand it would then allow us to "pierce the corporate veil" and go after the personal assets of Robele's management team, e.g. David Schwartz, despite any corporate claim of bankruptcy. Please contact me only if you're willing to pony up some money for an attorney. I don't know how much is involved but that's the only way it's going to work.
