Roe & Company ripoff failure to deliver custom made items after 6 months when promised in 3 months Petaluma California
On March 12, 2006, I paid half-down ($1,942.38)on a recliner and a love seat that were to be delivered by June 12, 3006. It is now September 12, 2006, and the furniture hs apparently not yet been built. During the last several months, all phone enquiries have been answered by essentially "next week" as the delivery date.

I am the Nelson from California (not Texas as an out of date record indicated)who actually was the person putting out the cash for the custom-built Mottis recliner, loveseat, and ottoman that was ordered on March 11, 2006, and which was promised to be delivered in time for my daughter's birthday on June 12, 2006, but which was not delivered until September 20, 2006. I do not considered the drawing out the delivery for over 6 months to be "as promised." The furniture pieces have indeed been delivered -- but the question remains that my daughter might still be waiting if the Rip-Off report had not been filed. The items are as promised, except that delivery was out off and put off for over 3 months. My suggestion is that Roe & Co attempt to correct their sloppy business model and handle such custom orders in a more business-like manner. A promise of delivery in 3 months should be kept because that appears to permit lots of time to make adjustments in anticipated delivery and to update the customer accurately instead of always having the delivery "next week" when the delay was over 13 weeks from the promised delivery in June.

On Sept 12, Nelson, from Texas, who is really S from California, reported that Roe and Compny had not built her "custom furniture as promised". It indeed was delvered one week from 9/12/06... as we stated..beautifully done and customized as requested. Our orders state that production dates are approximate and we ask that our customers read this and sign that they acknowledge this as "Nelson" did. Roe & Company's furniture is truly handmade and has done so sucessfully for over 20 years for many happy customers. We,in fact, are so busy, that delivery times are longer that we would lke, but we always deliver a quality product to our customers. Roe & Company Petaluma, CA
