Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
This is a very serious scam and these Rolex thieves should be shut down immediately.

Montres Rolex SA is a watch company comprised of Patrick Heiniger and other executives who make huge salaries while cheating you of your hard earned dollars by misrepresenting their products as Swiss Made and acting like they are a non-profit organization. The fact that they are set up as a non-profit company but that the executives and many others in the company make some of the largest salaries you can imagine is sickening, but the fact that they cheat you is and me is horrible.

Rolex uses hundreds of different names on ebay to bid up the prices of Rolex watches on ebay in order to control secondary market pricing. Nearly 100% of the time, they don't complete the transactions, and the sellers are forced to list the items again and again -- thus perpetuating the market pricing control and appearance that their items are being sold for much higher dollar amounts than they actually would have been if a real buyer would have completed the transaction.

They hide behind aliases so they can lie to people and not be held accountable as well as giving the appearance Rolex is a much more powerful company. Rolex higher-ups run several watch-related forums, posting messages under fake names so they can praise Rolex watches and again lend the appearance that many watch aficionados really love these junk watches. There are too many to keep track of or know about.

The watches they sell are assembled in Hong Kong and China in addition to Switzerland using some Chinese components -- but they don't mention the fact that they use these components in their watches. They want you to believe their watches are all assembled by hand in Switzerland using 100% Swiss components and that it takes one year to make a Rolex. Ask anybody in the world in the watchmaking business, and they will tell you that there is no way that Rolexes can take anywhere near that long to assemble. Rolex pumps out almost 1,000,000 junk watches per year. They claim the watches are assembled in Switzerland, but only some of them are. Independent studies have shown that balance wheels, hairsprings, bridges, screws, mainsprings, crowns, and other components are manufactured in China. These components have the exact same specs as the ones used in Rolexes and an insider who is very upset with these business practices has been contacting everybody he can to tell them of this fraud.

This makes it obvious that everyone who bought the earler cheaper models were totally ripped-off, too. They have several models which they pay as little as $15.00 dollars for and then claim it sells at retail from $1,500.00 up to $100,000 dollars.

They sell them on through retail stores and on ebay claiming it to be a promotion to retain value in the age of the internet (behind the scenes of course). This promo has run for over 4 years!

You should be paying much less for these cheap watches, but Rolex is artifically keeping prices very high in order to steal your hard earned money.

Also note that Rolex claims there are many counterfeit Rolex watches out there. How can they be counterfeit if they come from the same company that supplies Rolex their watches?

I sincerely doubt the company sells Rolex a great movement and sells everyone else a duplicate piece of crap. Look at all of the replicas on the streets that look and run exactly like Rolex. Rolex helped develop them. Then they shut down street merchants in order to get free publicity in "raids."

When a customer asks about all the bad press on the internet about Rolex, Rolex conveniently claims everyone who has negative statements are simply disgruntled people from the past who are trying to make trouble for them because they didn't get a good enough deal. Rolex is a mafia styled organization. This is a ridiculous assertion, the truth is there are many people who know these watches are a scam and are trying to help inform others.

Rolex successfully fooled millions of people making hundreds of millions of dollars. They have enough ill gotten money to buy advertising in an attempt to look more legitimate. They frequently refer people to magazines in which they have placed ads. Keep in mind that it doesn't matter what publication they are in, it is simply paid advertising. Anyone with the money can get into these same magazines.

If you bought any Rolex watch take it to be appraised and learn for yourself. Then contact us and we'll help do something about it. These models in particular are definitely using China components.

Do a search on Google for Rolex replicas to see many fake Rolexes produced by Rolex and sold all over the world. You can find Chinese sources for genuine Rolex products, and now Rolex has just invested millions of dollars to build new factories/service centers in mainland China. They are stealing your hard earned money, so please be ware and help us stop this scam.

ROLEX AIR KING INQUIRY

#2Consumer Comment

Mon, December 15, 2008

Hello, I happened to read your posting on the Rolex company ( or myth ) and all of your warnings. I'm just an average consumer who was lucky enough to inherit what I believe to be Rolex watch and wanted to ask you a couple of questions please. The watch is a stainless steel model with a silver face. On the face is the usual crown with the words Rolex Oyster Perpetual and then the writing Air King. I looked at your list of knock-off models and didn't see air king there. Did I get lucky and get a genuine one and to your knowledge did anybody knock-off this model ? The inside movement has two red revolving gears and two gold ones. The top revolving weight has no writing on it but the top of the the movement says Montres Rolex SA -- unadjusted 17 jewels -- swiss. However, the hairspring is missing ???. The crown has the Rolex crown and is a screw-down type and the hands turn freely. If you have any thoughts or repair suggestions I would greatly appreciate them. You can reach me here through the forum or at [email protected]. Thanks and have a great day ! deano

Ludicrous Claims Against Watch Manufacturers

#3Consumer Comment

Sun, June 22, 2008

This same guy claims that the Roland G. Murphy Watch company is a ripoff company. It is filed under Rip Off Report #69753 with the name as follows: Scott from Black Hawk, Colorado U.S.A. The gentleman is so sure of his facts that he cannot use his last name for fear of being sued by powerful companies that would take this kind of slander seriously and sue him. I am highly doubtful that Scott has active employment as this kind of effort takes time to conjure up the conspiracy theories he has represented here. I would support litigation effort as he is proposing to damage the reputation of companies that have worked hard to attain perfection in all they do. These same ludicrous assertions written here are made against RGM Watch Company. In fact it looks like a cut and paste report as he couldn't come up with anything other than the same nonsense that he is writing about in this ludicrous claim. He is deciding to share drivel against Rolex Watch U.S.A. Inc. which is the U.S. subsidiary of the Swiss watch manufacturer Montres Rolex S.A. and it is one of the most respected and revered watch companies in the world. He claims that Rolex is essentially involved in a conspiracy to inflate prices, post messages under fake names so they can praise the brand over and over again, and, the most absurd of all, that they are taking $15.00 watches and selling them for as high as $100,000. He also claims that independent studies have proven that many of the parts inside of a Rolex Watch are made in China and, an insider is running around upset about these practices and, denouncing the fraud to all who will listen. To all who have read this report and the one made against the RGM Watch Company I say the following: Folks; think for yourselves. This is the day of the internet which is a fabulous tool if used correctly to learn, teach, inform, enlighten, share cultures, broaden our world, entertain, etc. It is also a tool that can cause damage to others and misinform. It is a tool that cowards use to cause damage to others who are more successful for fun, out of envy, out of hatred towards people that have more than they do, etc. If this story was true wouldn't you believe that he would cite legitimate sources, wouldn't he use his real name so as to get credit for exposing the biggest rip-off in history against one of the most well known watch manufacturers of our time. I would think that he would be proud of exposing such corruption at the highest levels to ensure that Rolex started engaging in better business practices than what he is asserting is taking place presently. This is a scam folks, from someone who has nothing better to do with his time than to enlighten us with ramblings that are untrue, unfounded, libelous, and insulting to anyone who has the ability to think critically. I am a watch collector with a small watch collection. Fine watches are well made and expensive and I am not rich by any means. I have a Rolex "Z" series GMT Master IIc, a Rolex "Z" series Stainless Steel Date Submariner, a Roland G. Murphy 160m Chronograph, a Tag Heuer Kirium Chronometer. I read books, studied the brands, tried on many, and researched extensively before I bought a single watch. Hans Wilsdorf created the Rolex Watch Company in 1908. If you truly want to learn about the Rolex Watch Company I would suggest a Google search and look up the history. It is a fascinating story of a man who created a company that he wisely set up as a private trust prior to his death so that it can never be sold or traded on the open market. As a trust it is set up with it's own foundation that funds watchmaking schools and other arts. Go check out an Authorized Dealer of a Rolex Watch and try one on. The quality is there. As a fine mechanical timepiece it has a heartbeat of approximately 28,000 Beats Per Hour or, 672,000 beats per day or, 245,280,000 beats per year or 1,226,400,000 per five years when it needs servicing. It's accuracy is an amazing 99.9% when you factor in the gravitational forces exerted on a watch that is in many different positions throughout the day. That is an amazing feat that I would like to see Scott reproduce since he is trying to pass himself off as an expert conspiracy watch theorist. I rest my case.

Wed, November 03, 2004

It started with a normal transaction on a ebay supplier named Victor Popescu from Romania that he supplies motorola razr mobile phones. I asked him if I can purchase one unit for a trial, and therefore he refused all means of payment execpt for western union. I wired him the money to the address str primaverii NR 13A , Saltina , Romania. What he did is had taken my money and never shipped me any goods. So watch out for him , he sends e-mails from [email protected] and uses several other e-mails to cheat poeple. I paid him somewhere around USD500 plus the extra charges of shipping and western union fees. He is a cheap person so beware !!!!!
