Ron Buff, Buff Sales Associates WARNING: RON IS EARNING A LIVING AS A SCAM ARTIST. Internet; Northville, Michigan
We contacted Ron to rep our line in August of 2009. He comes across very knowlegableand positions himself as if he has contacts with the retailers he list on his website. He asked for a retainer, we paid it, and signed a contract with him to rep the line.
Thought we did our research by checking references. Initially, after cashing the check, we could reach Ron by phone. We mailed samples to him, even took his advice and actedonmodifying presentation kit and displays.Then all communication started to slow down in September, 2009. When we left aphonemessage telling him that we just read a Ripoff Report about himon the web, he immediately called us back stating that it was a disgruntled company that he was involved in a lawsuit with, specifically stating that he was suing the company for unpaid commissions.
We believed him, then low and behold another complaintwas filed byanother company. We'vebeen trying to reach Ron, by email, phone, andcertified mail since October, 2009. No response! To our dismay,other Ripoff Reports were filed. Initially with the first complaint, we tried to give this guy the benefit of the doubt, butafter checking this site today, we realized that this is a pattern with this guy.
Ron should not be allowed to continue to make a dishonest living. He is a convincing scam artist.
I would be more than willing to join a class-action lawsuit against this guy.
