When you go to a dealership you dont expect to be treated unfairly and taken advantage of. Well thats how Hilltop Chevrolet in Somersworth New hampshire does business.

I bought a 2005 chevy truck from them in february 2007, my salesman was a very nice man, nothing he did everything great. But the sales manager was a real jerk. I went on to ask a question one day an he told me to bring my paperwork inside, which i did. When i gave it to him he pulled out the title for my new truck and said that i'll get it back when they can get rid of my truck that was traded in. Now i couldn't register my new truck or anything, that was the first unprofessional thing i encountered there.

This truck i bought had never been owned so it was brand new. Now when i purchase a brand new vehicle i dont expect to have any mechanical problems with it for at least 6 months to a year after buying. Three days later i went to the car wash to wash my new truck. The engine started to smoke and it went dead. I took it back to Hilltop and asked them what they thought was going on. Well i intteruppted them in a middle of a party, so no one could help me or answer my questions.

I drove my truck home and in the driveway i noticed pieces of the catalytic converter in my exhaust! Pieces of it were flying out when i stepped on the gas. So i went back and they looked at it and i was told that it would have to stay there for about a week! A brand new truck having this many problems. Hilltop does not give rental cars i was told to go rent one from enterprise.

Well i am not 21 or made of money so that option was out. I was told if i drove the truck off the lot then they wouldnt pay to fix anything. I needed my truck for work that night. To make a long story short my truck got fixed after $10,000 worth of repairs on a brand new truck! I said this truck must be a lemon but i was convinvced otherwise. I traded that truck in 2 months after i bought it because it kept giving me problems.

Well i wanted a top of the line battery in my new truck so i went to the only chevy dealer around very hesitantly [hilltop] and bought a $110.00 ac/delco battery. A week later i woke up in the morning to go to work and my truck wont start. the battery was dead. Everytime i went to start my truck it would be dead. I went to auto zone for the free testing to see if it was the alternator or anything else, and i was told that i had a faulty battery.

On my lunch break saturday i went to hilltop to the parts department to return this faulty battery and was told the boss Jerry was not there so they could not do anything about it. That didn't make sense to me, why even be open if Jerrys not there and you cant do anything without him? Could they wipe there own a** with him not there??

So monday once again on my lunch break i went to hilltop and spoke with Jerry. He told me there was no way it was the battery "they make them realgood these days". So he said he would check everything and then make an desicion. After wasting 45 minutes waiting for them to test it he says that it looks like its the battery but he doesnt think that its just the battery that my truck was doing something, so he wouldn't exchange it.

I got a little upset with Jerry and told him where to stick the $110.00 battery and i am trying to figure out something to do about this ridiculous "business" called Ron Curriers Hilltop Chevrolet.
