Ronco - Six Star Knives Ripoff Ronco states these are quality knives but they are the poorest quality knives I have ever purchased Internet
A little over a year ago I purchsed the entire set of Ronco's Six Star Knife set. Yep, I was taken in by the television ad, but the quality they elude to in the ad is totally non-existent. Within a few months, our steak knives began to leak dishwashing liquid from the handle when turned upside down after pulling them out of the dishwasher...and I followed the instructions on how to place them in the dishwasher. Several times we have tasted diluted dishwashing liquid on our steaks only to find that the handles had seperated slightly from the blade and, when used, leaked the dishwashing fluid onto our food. I don't believe that it's probably healthy to eat dishwashing liquid, but I seriously doubt, based on the other reports I've reviewed here about Ronco, that I'd get my money back.(shipping included, which was outrageous by the way) I will never buy anything from Ronco again....
