My main complaint, gone unanswered, and uncorrected is that if you for example search in Newport Beach, Ca and then 5 miles from that zip code, cities like Laguna Niguel and San Clemente come up in the search, making you wade through hundreds of unrelated, garbage listings.

The site is set up as a a dating Site. Most people have photos of their faces, themselves partying, and in bathing suits. What this has to do with renting is beyond me.

If you want to search a specific area, you cannot. There are places in Newport beach in this example, no one would want to rent in. So if you're looking in the Peninsula area on the water, crap holes like around Hoag Hospital and Santa Ana Heights come up.

You cannot save your search parameters, nor narrow them to specifics. Every time you login, you have to fill everything back out again.

If you're being emailed new postings, of coarse you get the same crap because you can't specify areas, just cities. Most big cities have areas that are highly desirable, with a few neighborhoods in that area as extremely undesirable. You can't differentiate in searches or hot lists.

I have made numerous complaints about your searches pulling up the wrong cities, ads having inaccurate information, not saving search parameters so that one has to continually put the info into the fields, search parameters pulling incorrect data, and as an agent, I found that the site violates many Fair Housing laws. They are being taken to court on this issue, and they will loose. What relevance is it that your Gay or not, Straight or not, single, etc? this clearly is a violation of the law. it demonstrates just how unprofessional and non caring this site is. it's all about lining their pockets.

Not one of the problems have been addressed or corrected.

As far as the search data is concerned, it is the equivalent of paying to find a used car with your searches instead, pulling up commercial farm equipment.

Its called FRAUD.

All true--but who cares?

Discrimination? That's allowed when you're going to share a place. Even if landlords are doing it, the website won't be held responsible. (decision was recently made in favor of craigslist) Misleading ads on the internet? That's not news Doesn't narrow down location good enough? That's crummy. But as you already noticed this website is for partiers not serious renters. There are lots of other ways to find roommates. Quit beating your head against the wall.
