In 2004 I bought a set of diner table, chair, and a China cabinet from this company. After all the promises of delivering them on time everytime when I called and complaint, I got my furniture two months after my ordered date. Fine, I'll give them another chance. In August 2005 I bought a set of sofa and coffee table from them. They did it to me again. First I was told the furniture was on back order but they will arrive within one month and the deliver company will contact me. One month and..nothing, not even a single phone call. I called them again, they told me they will contact the delivery company and call me back. They didn't call me until I called them back one day later. So, going back and forth with them for 2 and a half month and I finally got my furniture delivered.

This year, 2006, my wife and I was shopping for a set of bedroom furniture and just happened that I really, really like one in this store, again! I couldn't find another set like that anywhere else in my area. So, I decided to give them a third chance. I ordered the furniture on Tuesday, was told by the saleman that he or the delivery company will give me a call on Thursday or Friday of the same week. I waited until COB of Friday, around 6pm, to call them back. The person on the phone said the saleman is out sick and the delivery company is now closed. So please call back the following Monday. I called back on Monday, they told me they will contact the delivery company and call me right back. Well, by Tuesday, no one called. My wife called them again on Wednesday and they said the furniture may be, I repeat, may be ready to be delivered by Sept 10th. What kind of an answer is may be? They really make shopping for furniture more harder than a car. My wife requested to cancel the order and they offered to give us a $200 dollar discount more toward the sale. $200 for the time I have to waste on the phone with them for the past 3 years? Not worth it. I have cancelled my order with them and I will never step into another Roomstore again. I am heading to(((ROR redacted competitor's name))) furniture. I couldn't find a complaint about them yet on Ripoffreport.com. That's a good sign.
