I needed a sewer pipe replaced at a rental property. A local plumber gave me the price and description of the work needed. I wanted a 2nd opinion so I called the pennsauken Nj roto rooter.

Rob Ludwick came out as their

representative.

He sold me on roto rooter because joes plumbing may not be around in a year or so if i needed help later so i paid more and went with roto rooter.

The other plumber told me and Rob that the pipe needed to be dug out, roots cut out from a large tree and the pipe should be new thru the entire yard from the foundation of the home to the fence and possibly a little further.

Roto rooter charged double but i agreed cause i wanted it done professionally by a reputable company.

The day They were to dig Rob called me and wanted a 200.00 deposit in cash. He came to my work and i gave it to him and he said no worries, i will apply it to your account.

That afternoon he called again and said the trench was dug and they needed payment in full because they are commission sale people.

I said i didnt want to pay till the job was done but he said I have no choice or they wont go any further.

He came to my job and harrassed me, he was waiting at my home at 6pm to harass me again, he called me 20 or more times , he called my job 20 or more times too and said he and his workers need to get paid up front or they wont do the job.

He came to my job the following morning and refused to leave.

I called the corporate office, they got the workers to finish the job and said he wont bother me anymore.

He came to my work again the same day for money.

I could see his pupils were dialated, he also smelled like pot.

UPDATE 4/20/13 JERRY GENERAL MANAGER TOLD ME THAT IF I HAVE ANY MORE PROBLEMS TO HAVE THEIR TECH CONTACT HIM IMMEDIATELY AND HE WOULD HANDLE IT FOR ME, THATS HOW POSITIVE HE WAS ABOUT THEIR PREVIOUS REPAIR THAT THEY DID. TODAY WE HAD THE SAME ISSUE WATER WITH HUMAN WASTE FLOWING ALL OVER THE HOUSE AND BACKING UP ONTO THE BRAND NEW CARPETS. ROTO ROOTER WAS CALLED AND THE TECH CALLED JERRY THE GENERAL MANAGER AND HE TOLD THE TECH TO CALL ME AND SAID HE WAS TOLD BY JERRY NOT TO DO ANY WORK IN THE HOUSE AND TO SIMPLY LEAVE THE PROPERTY

THESE PEOPLE ARE DRUGGY SCUMBAGS THEY TOOK MY MONEY DIDNT DO

THE REPAIR AND NOW IM SCREWED THEY PROMISED THINGS AND WONT HONOR THE PROBLEMS

He came with a younger guy at this time and again was harrasing me.

Turns out his previous profession was a used car salesman.

I was not surprized to hear that. I never got credited for the original 200.00 that i gave Rob. He stole my money.

Anyway

They did the job, they destroyed my fence, my concrete patio was now broken up into pieces and there was debris and roots and concrete along with dirt all over the property. They did not backfill the hole enough and left all the debris in my yard at the fence line.

I put up a makeshift fence 4 to 5 feet in the yard because of the crap they left at the fence line.

I could also see that they did NOT replace the entire pipe that they agreed to replaced.

The paperwork clearly states to the fence, they didnt do it.

Anyway the problem is back. The original issue was raw sewage backing up into the home. Its a safety issue for my tenants, its happening again.

I contacted them about the problem they had a guy scope the pipe and said the roots and the problem are 1 foot outside the fence.

Thats inside of where the old fence line was so they didnt replace what they said and wrote down on the repair order.

They put me in contact with a sarcastic guy Jerry Dilks General Manager who is very sarcastic and made a big joke out of the whole thing. (another car salesman)

I contacted Pat Swanson CEO, multiple times by email and she refises to help or honor the contract that they
wrote and were paid for

This is the most dishonest company in the world with a non caring CEO Pat Swanson.

I welcome any attorney to come and help me, this is a fraud case and very provable. Its also a treble damages case too so its fraud. Dont go to roto rooter for help they are criminals and robbed me for cash , harrassed me, shortcutted the job, charged me double and did not fulfil the contract and didnt clean up or remove the debris.

4 truckloads that i removed myself. Thank you

TODAY I CALLED ROTO ROOTER 4/20/13 BECAUSE I AM HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM SEWER WATER BACKING UP INTO THE HOUSE AGAIN MY TENANT CALLED THEM THEY SENT A GUY I EXPLAINED THE ISSUES AND THAT THIS WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FIXED WHICH IS WHY I PAID THEM SO MUCH IN THE FIRST PLACE.

HE CALLED THE GENERAL MANAGER JERRY DILKS AND JERRY SAID PACK UP YOUR TOOLS DONT DO ANYTHING THERE AT ALL

THIS COMPANY IS ABSOLUTE SCUM AND JERRY DILKS IS A TERRIBLE PERSO THEY SCREW EVERYBODY STAY AWAY FROM ROTO ROOTER
