Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
Wow, I am so blessed right now. God has truly been looking out for me.

I received a call this week from a lady by the name of Linda Douglas from ROFgroup out of Troy Michigan. I had applied for a loan for personal reasons and to try to get out of some debt. When she called she had the wrong social security number, so she got the correct one. Nevertheless, I honestly felt this company was on the up and up.

She called me back a couple of days later and told me that I had been approved for a loan for $10,000.00 I was so excited because I really needed the money. She then explained to me after all of the excitement was over, that I had to send in an insurance fee of $,1255.57 to insure the loan because of my bad credit.

I actually believed her. I went to a couple of people to see if I could borrow the money but no one was able to help me with that (I'm really glad they weren't). My mom and I gathered the money up ourselves and we were going to send it in on tomorrow 06/16/06. But my spirit didn't agree with how I needed to send the money. I was told to send it through Money Gram (I noticed others were told Western Union) and to a person not a company. I thought that this was strange because if I'm sending money to a company then I should use the company name.

This didn't set well with me at all so I decided to do some research. I called information to see if they had a number to Royal Oak Financial Group in Troy Michigan, and there is no such company. I called to see if there was such an insurance company as Allenbury Insurance Group, and there was no such company out of Burlington, Ontario. I really got suspicious when I noticed that the number on the website was different from the number that I had been calling for the past couple of days. So I decided that I would call that particular number. Naturally, the message was different and the set up to the extention was different. Instead of getting the voicemail for the person I had been calling for the past couple of days, I got another recording to leave a message.

I'm a litte upset because I gave this woman my account number thinking that they were legit. However, I have a close on all debit transactions from my account so she's not able to get any money out of my account.

I'm so glad that I have a higher power leading and guiding me because had I sent the money I would have been out of money for me and my daughter's up coming vacation, along with not being able to pay some bills. God is so good!!

Don't buy into these companies. It's a sad shame and disgrace that people are out there preying on folks who already have a hard time.

I leave you all with this: Pray so that you won't become Prey!!

Thank you Rip-off Report.com for saving me from a weekend of extreme worry and disappointment.

God Bless You All!!
