MR RUSK JONES is wrong on many points, 1.)YES, we are a small company, this is by design, We worked for MR.RUSK JONES for over a year. MR. RUSK JONES invited us to come work for his company after seeing another project we completed for another local company, which is used as the feature ad for the architect. The work which was substandard and mostly un-permitted,was the work that "We Called Into Question", done by his own employees that would not even come close to meeting any codes. We can provide customer names and jobs location. 2.)My company does carry General Liabilty, but since we have less than 10 Employees, we are not REQUIRED BY STATE LAW, to carry workers Compensation, we carry this privately. MR. RUSK JONES Does not Carry ANY WORKERS COMPENSATION to Date for his "crews", which consist of illegal aliens and/or undocumented workers. One of many links is provide to show the real character of the individual whom we had the misfortune of dealing with. From The State of Georgia Insurance Commissioners Office inscomm.state.ga.us/ANNOUNCEMENTS/OTR-TRO-041702.pdf or you can choose the United States General Accounting Offices hearing report, gao.gov/new.items/d04512t.pdf or the press release provide by the United State Department Of Labor dol.gov/ebsa/newsroom/docs/pr061802.doc 3.)As to the erronous claim that our work was substandard, that is an offesivly outragous lie. We did the work AS REQUESTED BY MR. RUSK JONES when it would not meet code conditions, we were instructed by MR.RUSK JONES to make all neccasary corrections EVEN ON WORK DONE BY HIS EMPLOYEES.Example we were contracted to construct a 14' high cedar pergola which we did, then found out that the fireplace was only 12" high. When we brought this to MR. RUSK JONES and the homeowners attention to inform them that this was a bad design by MR.RUSK JONES and a major fire hazard. Mr.RUSK JONES told us to get with the homeowner and make it right with him,Because he needed a draw, as was the case on many occasions. When we explaned the problem to the homeowner and provided a solution, and the homeowner, PAID MR.JONES for the extra work which we NEVER recieved the full amount. Working with MR.RUSK JONES cost us much more time and multiple trips due to his inabilty to schedule and properly prepare a job. BOTTOM LINE: You have to question the character of an individual that woulds take insurance premiums from hard-working people and drive many of them into bankrupcy for his own greed and personal gain.Reportly up to a MILLION DOLLARS. Thank MR. RUSK JONES next time you make that medical insurance payment. You can do your own search for MR.RUSK JONES formaly of dba as O.T.R. Truckers Association Healthcare Fund, O.T.R. Truckers Health and Welfare Fund and Over the Road Truckers Healthcare Fund. FINAL:I know the world is round and what you do to people and how you treat them will come back around to you. That is the philosphy we try to live by each and every day.We treat our client's fair and they are our client's for life. First, you have to question the source when the person won't sign their name to an outrageously offensive email. The "anonymous" person is Mark, a small time, one man operation who performed sub-standard work on a particular project. It is very dissappionting to see what some people will say to try and hurt a company that provided work for them when they had no other work and limited income. Unfortunately, Mark's version fails to discuss the fact that his sub-standard work performance caused him be removed from the job. Mark also left out the fact that he was present with me and the homeowner when the homeowner told Mark that he was not going to pay for changes that were sub-standard work and not agreed upon. Mark works under the assumption that budgets mean nothing and sub-standard work is acceptable. Mark also failed to mention that he carried no General Liability Insurance or Workers Compensation Insurance so my firm, Outdoor Conceptions Group paid his portion of the premium for him without any request for reimbursement. BOTTOM LINE: The client mentioned spent in excess of $80K with our firm, they are an outstanding client who continues to refer us. We are glad to provide references to any of our prospective clients. Should anyone have a legitimate project of this size, I will gladly provide this particular client's information for referral. Outdoor Conceptions Group is one of Atlanta's premier hardscape construction firms. We enjoy an impeccable reputation with well over a 100 clients. We wish Mark Hitchcock success. We also hope that Mark will evaluate his business practices and make improvements in the areas that cause homeowners and contractors to question his work ethic, work habits, and work quality. Sincerely, Rusk L. Jones Partner Outdoor Conceptions Group, Inc. and unapproved work by the homeowner and failure to let the homeowner know that he was covering up his mistakes with inflated unapproved material changes
