On Dec. 20, 2013 I was having problems with this extra toolbar and was searching the web for a way to uninstall it.  I came across a website RegCurePro.com that offered to do a free scan on my computer.  I went with it and allowed the scan.  Upon completion of the scan it informs me that I have thousands of junk files and threats.  The product they offered me was software to download for 39.99 that would remove the junkfiles and threats and allow my laptop to preform better and faster.  The software never did this for my computer and consequently removed a file I needed to connect to my online college classes.  I called them and spoke with a representative named Stewart. and he told me that the problem is my computer working too hard and that I needed to purchase another software that would now cost me 200.00 and 19.99 monthly.  This was supposed to clean my computer and repair the problem (their software caused) twice a year.  I got irrate and explained that I did not have problems connecting to my online classroom until I downloaded their software.  He placed me on hold and went to speak with his manager, Sydney.  When he came back to the line he said he now had authorization from Sydney to reduce the price to 125.00 and 19.99 a month to fix the problem.  I further explained to him that the problem was caused by their product.  I think he felt sorry for me getting burned so he told me how to restore my computer to a past date.  So that is what I did.  I plan to call them to get my 39.99 back because their software never did anything for me except for mess up my online classroom capabilities.

I feel so dumb for doing this and will never be so nieve to do it again.  And to think, all I wanted was for that stupid toolbar to go away.
