Just typed the whole scenario and this website had an error. darn it, they deleted everything.

So I will Just say the basics

This is a pyramid Scheme.

They advertise on Craigslist for "General Office Work". Then you get a call to interview for a management trainee position. They charge $60 for a background check, hire you on the spot, invite you to a training session. At the first training they tell you your materials are in a "kit" that you need to buy for $99. By the time you start asking questions, they hush you saying they will get to that later.

By the time they - run out of time for the meeting,  they have told you in order to train people to sell, you need to know how to sell.  NONE of your questions are answered. They say you need to sell $3,000 of thier product to get to step 2. Step 2 is in office training. Then you take a test. Step 3 is them evaluating you. Step 4, you pick a city for your office (what they don't tell you is that YOU will pay the rent and purchase all the furniture). Step 5 is moving into your office and hiring people through the same fasion they hired you. ( i asked, How many people get past step 1? thier response was, " the people who don't give up"') could not even give me a number.

They do not run a background check ( I asked for mine and they don't have it), obviously they hire you on the spot. The kit is worth $25 at best and the pure profit is split between the hiring manager and the company. If you try and sell anything, you better be sure the people you are having purchase are ok with throwing money away. 1/2 of the orders are never received, and if you try to cancel, they have the opportunity to decline your request.

I showed up to the weekly meeting you are required to attend and demanded my money back. The President Mr Herschenberger, threatened to call the cops and have me removed. I sat down and said I'm good, I'll wait for them to come. At that point he said he will give me my money, just leave before I cause a scene. I made him put it in writing and am waiting for my check now.

I do hope they do the right thing and return my money. I will hate to spend time in Civil Court, but I do have his agreement in writing. So I will do what needs to be done.

I am going to email a local reporter to blow this story up and hopefully save others in my community from the same scam. I am also going to file with my States Attorney General and the BBB. If I can come up with any more ideas, i will do whatever I can to stop these people.

The saddest part of this is that the victims are unemployed, broke or close to it. These people not only take your money (which could be the difference between feeding your family or paying utilities to having gas to get to interviews) but they make you think you have a shot, then by the end of the 2st meeting, you are back to hopeless and now you are $159.00 poorer.
