Sage Small Business Solutions Avoid Sage at all costs Lawrenceville Georgia
We have been paying Sage Business Solutions a monthly fee of $199.95 since September 2014 for a total of $3,399.15. We have paid another web hosting company $330 per month that entire time for server space. During that time we have been trying in vain to implement an integrated business solution, but never have succeeded.
We finally gave up and cancelled the project. It just wasn't turning out to be feasible in any reasonable amount of effort.
We notified Sage that we wanted to terminate. They had just done a monthly billing to our bank account, and as a last request, we requested that it be reversed. That was on 3/23/16. As of 4/26/16, it still hasn't been received.
I have spent hours on the phone with many different people in their organization about this refund, and they all assure me that it will be just a few days more. Right.
I now think their ugly, outdated software is just a rehash of the old Peachtree application for PCs that was out 20 years ago. They are top-heavy with management that is totally ineffective. Their lower-level business transactions are outsourced to what sounds like people in the Philippines who have no knowledge or authority to act.
The bottom line is that they lie, cheat, and steal. Avoid this company like the plague.
