I'm sorry that your on disability and that things are so difficult for you. Thinking that you've been scammed makes things even harder. My question is this. If you've stopped sending money and they are still sending you letters with beautiful scriptures in them then how can you consider it a scam? They don't want anything from you. They just want to pray for you. Sounds free to me. How many people in your life do you have begging to pray for you? The money you send helps to support their mission cause. They send letters of full of scripture and pray for people. If you cannot afford to support them then don't send your money. If you don't want them to pray for you then request to be taken off their mailing list or throw away the letters. But I for one don't believe that you've been scammed.

Folks, if you feel the need to give money to some religious organization, PLEASE give it to a 'small' local church that is trying to help local people with their problems. If some outfit you never heard of or some huge church asks you for money and plays the "christian' card, you can bet 100% that they are a ripoff and/or a scam. You were taken and probably will be again. People using religion as a money maker are the most unscrupulous people on the face of the earth.
