Complaint Review: Saldana Tile - Lake Forest California

In reference to my update below. I have not posted pictures of the multiple times you slept on my carpet next to your tools or on my sofa because the picture is of your likeness and I do not want to post it without your permisssion. Please respect the law and my desire to not have my picture posted.

I forbid you from posting my photo on the internet. It is my likeness and I do not give you permission to post it. There can be legal consequences for posting photos without permission.

Sorry if I was off by a few pounds. You told me you were 340 pounds and I took your word for it. That's the least of my concerns.

Yes, I should not have paid you. I felt sorry for you because you expressed that you were in financial difficulty so I paid you in advance on a Friday before the work was completed. You promised to come to work the following Monday and diligently finish the job. Instead, you showed up late on Monday and secretly packed up all your tools while I was working in my office and left without a word to me. You just skipped out. You stole some of my tools in the process and left piles of garbage in my home and yard. I have photos of all of this.

As far as your helper, Mike. He and I are on excellent terms. I have the cancelled check from my payment in full to him. You, on the other hand, did not pay him for a full days work. That is why the two of you had a problem that the police had to sort out.

As far as the changes to the design. There were no changes on my part. The problem was that you had a sub that messed up the original design and we had to do all sorts of things to try to get the tile to look close to the way I had originally agreed to.

Here's the bottom line, we had an agreement for several thousand dollars worth of work. You completed 15% of it and received 80% of the money. Have you come back to finish as you promised you would? No.

I have had a number of professional tile men come to bid the job after you left. Each one said your work was unprofessional and poorly done. They are not just saying that to get the job from me. On one tub, the mud has bulges and voids. It is not plumb. On the other tub the tile is not flat and the grout lines are not even. On the third tub, the chicken wire was so poorly put up that it had to be removed. Not only am I out for the advance money that you took off with, but I had to pay to have your work re done. The new tile guy I have is light years better. I have no problems with him. He is working cleanly, quickly, and the product looks much better.

340 pounds ? kinda close. 315. if it was the craftsmanship your upset about, then why did you pay me? ok, now that thats 

clear you fail to mention the fact that i allowed you to change the tile layout 3 to 4 times. did i charge you for my time

 my helpers time? speeking of helpers you didn't mention my helper Mike. i am sure you remember Mike, the guy you pulled aside  to do some odd jobs around your house. did you pay Mike? police report says different. ok ,enough of you 

and your relationship with him. you picked on my wieght and called me names that really hurt my feeling. i am a nice guy

and if you think for one second that i did not go out of my way to make you happy, you truly need to look into the mirror.

if need be i will post a picture of you in front of my work smiling with two thums up! yes you got the better half of work

 performed to the money paid out. yes 3 weeks. 3 weeks of you and changing your horses in the middle of the race.
