Complaint Review: Samantha Kiddkidds Kennel James Kidd - Nastyville Alabama

Filthy dogs and filthy kids need to be taken away from this woman .

I am sooo glad I found this on here finally, a place to write this about. I too, like the other poster am from Alabama, and I have personally seen this breeder, Samantha Kidd's place, family, dogs, etc.. I think what the original poster meant in saying about the State of Alabama not regulating the breeders, is the fact that breeders are not MANDATED under the law for any regulations, policies, etc., meaning anyone can breed dogs in Alabama for profit and not have any recourse, rules, regulations are anything they HAVE to follow.

There are many breeders in Alabama or should I say many Puppy Millers, like this Samantha Kidd, aka Painted Breeze Ranch. I have found her website, up and running, under www.geocities/paintedbreezeranch.com, and she has changed her email too [email protected] !

My wife was the one whom spoke with this lady first. And I agree with the original poster of the comment, this lady, Samantha Kidd is nothing but a Puppy Miller in every since of the word. She trades dogs left and right always increasing her dogs in breeding numbers. She does have literally plastic trash cans for dog houses, unclean environment totally, and my wife was disgusted at the condition her children were in. A call was placed to the Piedmont County, Human Resources, this lady has moved. And I think I may have found her or her husband in northwest Alabama now!

It was awful, my wife cried for hours after seeing the conditions. And we too, called the local police, we were told that the dogs were not running free, harming other people, in an agressive nature, etc., so by means of their department, they could not help us. There is a neighboring county 'pound', and they told us that they would go and 'speak' with the owner/lady, and inform her of the things she needed to clean up and take care of, and give her time to do so. That is the problem with this place! She can clean the pens one day, give them food, give them bathes, get the human society back out there too see this 'improvment', and they will be done with it. That is what we were told! I have documented everything completely. So we too had no recourse for this Puppy Miller.

She has traded/swapped so many dogs/puppies it is ridiculous. She adds more and more dogs too her unsanitary conditions, only for breeding them and making money off of them. I spoke with another lady in the area of us, who has 4 Chihuahua's, she told me that she knows Samantha and her husband, and that Samantha has over 8 different breeds of dogs and still adding more and more of them just too breed whichever breed to whichever breed! She doesn't care what she breeds, or what slip-up's in breeding take place, all she cares about is oh well, it's money that i need now.

My problem with this type of breeder in general is, get off your butt, get a job, if you need more money that bad, and yes, this breeder, Samantha Kidd, does not work, and relies on these dogs and her puppy mill to make money! She states she loves the dogs, etc., yeah, I bet she does, she loves the money the dogs make her that is.

Through my search, she has moved numerous times in the past few years, like 5 times! Wonder why she is moving so much, maybe becuase so many people are coming to her house, and discusted at what they are seeing. I love the state of Alabama, don't get me wrong, lived here all my life in fact, but something needs to be done to regulate breeders in this state more. If they are going to breed, they need to be regulated and watched and overseen for the conditions of the dogs and puppies.

It was disgusting at her old home on thePiedmont/Gadsden HWY, dog feces literally everywhere in and around her home. Dogs in small uncleaned cages, yes, people dishes in the pens for the dogs to get thrown food. My gosh, can you not even afford a 3.00 dog dish at walmart? I hate to be rude, but honestly you would have to see this woman, her family, the conditions they live in, that is sorrowful enough, but then to see her using livestock and animals in a poorly condition as well for monetary gain, that is uncalled for totally. She needs help drastically.

Everyone in the small town knew about her, if you call any breeder in the paper, tthey will tell you somewhere , somehow, she has called them to see if they would trade or make her some deals on their dogs. Thank the lord that the ones I personally spoke with, said they didn't sell her anything or give/trade her anything because they cared more about their puppies than that.

I am sorry for posting this truly I am, I feel extremely sorry for this lady adn her family and dogs, but just like someone else told me, that is exactly what this lady wants you too do. She will tell you any sorrowful story to get a sympathy vote for herself! If you read this Mrs. Samantha Kidd, I am sorry if I hurt your feelings, but honestly you are a puppy mill! Even calls to local vets in the area and surrounding area, all confirmed, you will CALL them for advice and treatment of your dogs, but not pay the bill to bring them in to get vet checked and exmained. We have done our research on you. And will continue to inform anyone we can about your puppy mill practices!

If you don't have the money to feed your animals, give them proper veternarian care, proper housing, etc., don't have them then, for gosh sakes. These are memebers of people's families, animals are indeed loved like members of family's, why shouldn't they be treated like that by everyone? But then again, you need some help on you own families personal needs. I can direct you to some outreach agencsies. If I knew where you are located at now, I would be happy to forward those pamplets too you, it could be helpful. I am not being smart, my wife has seen first hand your living conditions and the conditions of the dogs you have, we have spoken to other breeders in Alabama about you, and it is alarming what you are putting those dogs through just too make a buck.

You are a puppy mill, look up the definition of a puppy mill, come on breeding over 7-8 different breeds of dogs.......Anyone reading this, make your own judgement please, but please investigate this lady, all the complaints of people whom have spoke to her, seen her dogs, the conditions, etc., we all can't be wrong! Do not support puppy mills!!!! Find a reputable breeder!
