Satellite Sales.com - Homes.org - Saveology.com do not honor rebates!! Ft.Lauderdale Florida
DO NOT order your satellite tv or any other service from satellite sales.com, or ANY one that uses homes.org or saveology (that's the name they're using this year to help them from dealing with paying last years Homes.org rebates I assume). I ordered satellite tv which had two rebates associated with it. One for which I was supposed to receive a $75 gc within 16-18 weeks, and the other was for a $25 gc with the same waiting period. Well, I sent in the required paperwork, waited a few months, and called to check on my rebates. They said "they are pending, sir, if you don't receive the payout in a couple of months , call back to check". Well, I called back a couple of months later, after homes.org started going by the name "saveology.com", and they stated that they don't have record of the larger $75 rebate, even though they were sent in the same envelope, and they already stated that both rebates were accepted and pending. After them arguing with me and saying there was no such rebate because they just started and were only offering the $25 rebate, I showed them the online form for the rebate, and they finally admitted that they were, indeed, homes.org going by the name saveology.com now. So I resubmitted the rebate, per their request, and waited another couple of months, and called back to see if they received it............to my surprise...they never received the resubmission form, and have no idea what I'm talking about! So, now it's been nearly a year since I ordered satellite tv and sent in the rebates (which a lot of the reason I ordered satellite tv was because of the savings from the rebates). Not only am I probably never going to get them to even recognize the larger rebate, but the smaller $25 rebate is STILL PENDING! What I can say is.... this is FRAUD, and anyone considering participating in ANY of these rebate programs should pretty much expect NOT to ever actually get the rebates honored. Period.
