I ordered a Direct TV Satellite System from a telemarketer about one year ago with the promise of receiving a FREE Home Theater Center with CD/DVD player with six speaker surround sound system after three months of Direct TV service.

A year later and no Home Theater System.

I contacted Direct TV who reported that after reviewing my account information, they show that the specific entertainment system offer I mentioned was offered to me through SATELLITE SYSTEMS NETWORK.

SATELLITE SYSTEMS NETWORK is an independent company that distributes satellite equipment, such as DIRECTV receivers and satellite dishes. Since the entertainment system is offered by SATELLITE SYSTEMS NETWORK, they are responsible for both fulfillment of the offer and the resolution of any difficulties with its fulfillment. (per Direct TV)

Direct TV is keeping a record of my complaint. However, in order to address my issue, I had to contact SATELLITE SYSTEMS NETWORK.

I could not find contact information for Satellite Systems Network in my phone book, did a Google Search and called them.

I called and tried to speak to the customer service department. I got no answer but was transferred to a voice mail box-- which was full!

I called again and decided to try to go through sales. I was hung up on three times and transferred to the full voicemail box that doesn't accept messages immediately after saying why I was calling.

This company is a scamming lying rip off that needs to be somehow sanctioned.

I could never get a hold of customer service

Just received a message on my answering machine from Larissa at Satellite Systems Network today saying that I never sent a form in and that is why the System was never sent to me. I was never told to send a form in and was never able to send a form in because I could never get a hold of customer service for them to tell me to send a form in. Larissa's message said that she would be sending my Home Theatre System in the mail within the next two weeks despite no form. Strange thing about all this is that I was never able to get through to this company yet somehow they knew I was complaining.... thanks to this web site???? Or maybe Direct TV contacted them because I was able to file a complaint with Direct TV regarding this company. I will let you know if my system arrives. If others are dealing with this let Direct TV know so they stop doing business with these people.
