I bought a used 2000 Ford Ranger, from these company three days ago. It had a few bugs in it. The drive side air bag was on, and the was a slight noise from the rear end. I was assurred it would be fix (yes I even got a warrenty) The next day I brought it back to have these items checked. After about an hour I was told they do not know what was wrong with it, so the sent me to the ford dealer but I was not allowed to let them fix it only look.

When I got to the ford dealer I explained that the saturn dealership sent me down to them to look at the ranger. The fords service department called the saturn dealers to comfirm what I had said.

After a few minutes the ford dealership told be that it would be better for me to make an appointment because Saturn did not want to pay for them to check out the truck.

So I made the appointment and left. I went a few places in my ranger, then on the way home the motor started knocking really load. I pulled over to check the fluids. The were all find, so I easied the truck home and called saturn.

That wanted me to drive the truck to them (over 20 miles). After an hour or so of me tring to tell them there is something major wrong with this engine they finally agreed to have it towed.

They sent a tow service out to get the truck. The next bussiness day the store manager called me and asked if Had driven there and water, I told him no. Then he informed me that The problem was water had gotten inside the engine threw the aircleaner and had cause a rod to either break or bend.

I told him that I did wash the truck, but did not known how the water could have gotten inside the motor. Then I was informed that it was my fault that the it was not covered under there warranty. That I am going to have to pay for a new motor and labor.
