Savingsmart.com I was going through my bank statements and found that this company was taking 1.00 from my account for quite some time! I have no idea how it got on my account but I tried to call to stop it and it was a pre-recorded message stating that if you wanted to opt out of this plan ( I imagine most do!) that you must get online! I contacted my bank and reported the activity and cancelled my card. Internet (connecticut)
I found this on my bank statement and much to my dismay it had gone on for a while! Unfortunately for me it was the second of it's kind! However this one was much cheaper than the last one. I called the 800 number on the statement and got a recording directing me to get online. I ended up just cancelling my old bank card and signing a specific piece of paper at my bank that blocked these jerks from having any more accent to my account again. What is upsetting to me is that I have no way to recoup my money and that I'm a single mother on unemployment, with 2 children to support! Furthermore this is the 2nd time in a year that this kind of fraud has happened to me! The other one was much more costly to the tune of 20.00 a month! And both of these companies were based out of CT, and were supposedly some sort of Savings for shopping? I don't see how I got any savings at all? I got taken and I had no way to fix that. I ended up with 60.00 in refunds in the other scam but I lost probably 100.00 dollars. I am so angry that this happened to me. I hope it is finally done with for good!

Why don't you talk with a bank official and ask them for a review of your banking records?

The bank official should be able to show you a complete review of all of your bank statements and then you should be able to figure out when this RIP OFF started. If the dollar amount adds up to the statutory limit, you might be able to file charges with your district attorney's office. This could also be indicative of some EMPLOYEE dishonesty which would not be the first time in the BANKING industry. I would at least talk to someone there or I would go through all of my old bank statements for myself if you saved them..
