Saxon Exchange Bureau/ AKA-Browers Solutions/ AKA-Bowers Wheel Of Fortune Sweepstakes Bonanza I recieved 2 checks, $1560.21, and 10,520.28. I was to cash $1560.21, and deposit into my acct. and send it to the Maple Dr. address.Then the 10,520.28 would be mine. Selkirk, MB Other
I recieved two checks, and a letter stating that I had won a sweepstakes, but in order for me to recieve my winnings I needed to call a lady named Janet Johnson at 1-647-2107, to get instructions as to what I needed to do next. I didn't get to talk to Janet, but I did speak to a man with a strange accent, who said Janet was on break. He went on to tell me I needed to deposit the smaller of the two checks ($1560.21) into my personal account, and then fax this amount to 1-204-962-8876. I would then recieve a bond that would allow me to cash my winnings which is $10520.28.
I also called the phone numbers on the checks, Bank of the West, Kietzke Lane, Reno, NV, 89436, Toll free: 1-888-602-7873, and the man I talked to there, verified that both checks were real, with the exception of having to fax the one in order to actually win the other.
All of this was fishy to me, so I looked it up, and found a report on Ripoff Report.
