Saxy Concreting ripoff, lazy, leaves a mess behind, doesn't listen. Narre Warren, Victoria Australia
I was getting my drive way concreted and I obtained about 7 quotes. Simon from Saxy Concreting was not the cheapest quote, but he came across very professional and I thought we were on the same wave length. So when I finally made my decision to go with him the night mares started. All of the sudden it was clear I was dealing with a half wit who would ask me the same questions over and over again. Everything we agreed on during the quote suddenly became too hard to do. And it seemed to me he just wanted to do it the easiest way, instead of the way I wanted. It took him 5 weeks to finish a job that can be done in two days of good weather. he would come over and work for one or two hours a week and would leave empty beer cans in my front yard.
Simon admitted he hated customers to my face, he also admitted to being high on drugs while working on my property! I honestly do not see how he thought a customer would want to hear these things.
After being stringed a long by his empty promises he finally finished the job. I was glad it was finished but was left feeling a ripped-off as it was not the perfect result I expected. And I was put through two weeks of hell to get a sub-standard job.
If you have recently requested the services of "Saxy Concreating" Don't risk it. if you really want "service" cancel now and look else ware.

Wow!! We have a completely different story to tell you about Saxy Concreting. Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience but we highly recommend Simon for any job. These sorts of reports can affect a person's whole life as well as their career so we want you to hear our story. We received 3 quotes for our driveway to be concreted. Simon's was cheaper and definitely more professional. He took the time to accurately measure the driveway and sat down and worked out the quote straight away. He double checked his measurements and explained everything thoroughly. In fact, with every conversation we had with Simon prior to him starting the job he was so happy to repeat how he was going to do it and would answer any questions we had. We had complete faith in him. Compared to other quotes we had obtained, he was thorough in explaining everything. He explained to us that he would do the job for us on the weekends as he was working full-time and we were happy with that. He even gave us plenty of retaining wall tips (for the sides of our driveway) and offered his help with completing that job. When it came to doing the job, he would pop over after working a full day and reinforce the driveway and put down special materials to ensure the concrete would hold properly on our steep, wide driveway. On the day of pouring, he had men organised to help him, he had the trucks here on time, he ordered almost the exact concrete that he required and the work that he did was EXCEPTIONAL!!! We always look at our huge driveway and say how fantastic it looks. And his behaviour was perfect. He had respect for other family members that popped over to our house and was very friendly. We would highly recommend him for any concreting job. Just have a look at his previous work photos and it will show you that he knows what he is doing. Give him a go if you are looking for a professional concreter. You won't regret it!
