Scholastic Grolier Books rip-off Jefferson City Missouri
Last December of 2002 I had received a bill from Grolier's Books notifying me that I owed $19.42 for a Disney Activity Calender.First of all I never ordered this product, second of all I have yet to this day (February 1, 2003)to receive this product.
Now they're billing me repeadedly stating that I owe this amount adding a $1.99 fee on each month as a postage cover, "not a finance charge." Right!! My point is I never ordered it, I have NOT received it, and I am NOT going to pay for something i have not received nor ordered. I have continuously sent them their bills back with a notification of this situation asking them very nicely to close my account with them so this does not continue to happen.
I have also left my phone number with them asking to call me if they have any questions. No phone calls, no notification that they have received any of this information. What Do I Do!!!! Now they have sent me another bill and it says ELIGIBLE FOR AMNESTY AUTHORIZATION????
I have tried calling their customer service number and have not received an answer. I refuse and will NOT pay for this. What can I do????
