Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Scoresense, which is part of Experian, should have given me a free credit report then ended the transaction(s). They did neither. Experian is conducting a con under the name scoresense and are committing fraud under the ruse of giving a free/very cheap report.

I asked for my free credit report (had not requested the ANNUAL free report for 2 years), though it is available once per year. It had been over 2 years since the last time I requested it.

When askiong for the yearly free report, even though all 3 companies are supposed to give it, I was prompted to use Experian only. I decided to go with them only due to time issues and I did not need it for much infornmation.

So, I was taken to the Scoresense site, and found it was really Experian under a different name. I had to agree to pay them $1.00. I thought that was odd, since it was supposed to be free, but proceeded because I did not want to take the time to figure it out. So, I authorized the $1.00 charge (giving them my debit card number).

Today, less than one week later, I checked my bank account and saw a $29.95 charge! This was definitely NOT authorized by me, so I called them. Of course, I was on hold for well over 15 minutes with them attempting to explain that they have a "high call volume." That is part of their con, since any company as rich as Experian would hire enough phone people to cover the calls. Why is this part of the scam? It is designed to get you, the customer, to change your mind and "feel sorry" for them so that you will soften your stance about them. It should, however, trigger more anger and outrage since it means that they are doing it on purpose.

So when their phone "person" got on, I was told that she could not authorize a refund. That tells me that they will drag this out for a long period of time--probably weeks--then tell you "no."

So, I told her that I was going to dispute the charge through my bank. I did that because I elected to not allow them to drag this out for many days and weeks, only to very likely deny my right to get my money back.

This whole thing is a ruse. I advise everyone to think long and hard before doiong business with these people.

Buyer Beware
