DO NOT LEASE from John Hurry and Scottsdale Capital Advisors unless you want to get seriously taken for a ride.
Myself and half of the other tenants in his building experienced a tripling of CAM charged from the year previous to when he did not own the building. When Hurry was questioned about it, he claimed that his attorneys could research the matter at $450 an hour that the tenant would have to pay for.
John Hurry did not maintain the building as per the lease. We had ongoing roof rats, ceiling leaks, and A/C problems just to name a few.
The ROOF RAT problem became a serious liability when super sized mouse traps were placed by his people around most of our offices. One of the rat traps was placed on a storage shelf by a Scottsdale Capital vendor that nearly took a finger off of one of our employees. The roof rats were chewing through our T-1 lines and cost us significant fees to have the lines replaced. This lasted for months with very little concern from Scottsdale Capital.
Our office space experienced massive roof leakages every time is rained for over a year. The water stained ceiling panels were left by his crew for over 45 days until we threatened to forwarded re-occurring requests to our attorneys.
John Hurry simply could care less about his tenants. BEWARE: He will screw you from all directions.

On October 15, 2010 I posted the above complaint against John Hurry, Justine Hurry and Scottsdale Capital Advisors. The items listed in this posting were not correct and posted as a result of being sued. Having had time to consider the posting I believe that it should be completely retracted. We are paying off the debt to Scottsdale Capital Advisors Partners. I would retract the above posting if allowed.
