Exactly why were you fired from Northern Tool & Equipment? The Texas labor code says Blacklisting/References (Labor Code, Sec. 52.031):[Return to Top] It is unlawful to blacklist an employee in order to prevent the employee from obtaining gainful employment, and to conspire with others to prevent an employee from obtaining employment. Violations are punishable by fine of up to $250 and prison term of up to 90 days. However, companies are permitted to provide a truthful written statement about the reasons for termination, and cannot be sued for making a truthful report of problems with the employee. Note the last sentance. So, Northern Tool is a mean company who fired you because? You're going to have to prove that they gave an UNTRUTHFUL report.

Under texas law{until it is re-written again},when a prospective employee goes for an interview, and info from previous co is used to deny employment, then blacklisting has occurred. Except in the eyes of Ruben vidaurri,Tiffany Anderson, and Tom Finney.

If what you say is true, your first and foremost complaint is with northern tool and equipment. If s-mart didn't hire you because of what nt&e told them, you probably have legal recourse aganist nt&e. Know a few folks that got let go in the repair center, of s-mart, in SA, because of their work ethic. It's odd that you come out aganist s-mart when nt&e is doing the "blacklisting". Much of what you say is true.
