Segal, Cohen & Landis LLP. & Gregory P. Segal/Does/30 Falsely advertised, Misrepresented their capabilities to resolve my FTB an IRS back tax issues and kept $7750 after being terminated. Beverly Hills, California
I hired Segal, Cohen & Landis, LLP and was represented by Gregory P. Segal. They were hired to resolve my back FTB and IRS taxes. I paid an upfront fee of $2500 plus $350 a month for over 2 years. My case was literally ripped to shred by this firm and innocent people were hurt.
I had to file suit in superior court just to be able to bring this firm in front of an arbitrator, judge or jury. We complained and filed a demand to be heard in arbitration (AAA) per the contract I signed. This law firm failed to honor the arbitration clause in the agreement. Therefore, my case could not be heard on what they did wrong with our case.

This firm is taking advantage of innocent people who find themselves in a situation of having back taxes. They prey on these consumers knowing you do not have the means or the resources to fight back when they leave you stuck with the same problem you came to them about. In my case they made everything worse.
You are stronger than you think. Some of us don't have the financial means to fight so you have to do it yourself. But you still have a voice. PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS FIRM.

Now consumers can see the Law firm of Segal, Cohen & Landis, LLP has absolutely no ethics. They have posted a rebuttal to my complaint and included a letter that is part of Attorney/Client privilege, which violates the Rules of Professional Conduct. Not only have they posted this letter, but they only posted half of the letter. The other half of the letter includes problems with our case that showed this law firm failed to submitt the financial records requested that required by the IRS. They also failed to submit anything to the FTB for my case. This firm was given our financial information on several different occasion, but failed to turn it over. That is the part they don't want you to see. They also communicatd in writing they handle state taxes and ws working on ours. That did not happen at all.
Atached is letter I wll share with consumers that is form the American Arbitration Association. Segal, Cohen & Landis, LLP failed to honor their contractual agreement. If Segal, Cohen & Landis had nothing to hide then why did they not follow bthrough with arbitration? They were told by the AAA that since they did not adhere to policy regarding consumer claims, the AAA was declining to administer other consumer disputes involving this business.
Segal, Cohen & Landis LLP. was to remove the American Arbitration Association name form their arbitration clause sot that there is no confusion to the public regarding their decision.
Also attached, which I will share with consumers ia an email form attorney Ted Horton Billard for Segal, Cohen &b Landis that says, "Why AAA cares about a contractual term which shifts the burden of paying for arbitration onto the party seeking such relief? In short, IF YOU GET PAID WHY DO YOU CARE?" This is all this law firm cares about ( the all mighty dollar). They do not care about their clients and don't care if your problem is solved or not.
They fully admitted with these two documents they don't care about honoring their contracts and they don't care about terms of contracts unlss it benefits them. CONSUMERS BEWARE!!!!!
