This has to be the worst place to have a car loan. If the car lot comes back with these jokers as your lender tell them to keep looking. I was FORCED to pay thousands of dollars for a redundant comp insurance policy for an unregistered car in storage (with its own storage insurance). They would not accept FULL replacement coverage and instead forced me to purchase comp and collision which won't even cover the loan amount.

Finally after satisfying their extorting requirements built into their predatory loan papers, they then have the nerve to charge me for the time this was in disputes at the accelerated 1 year rate of the add on insurance even though the loan is for 5 years. This is the last credit union I ever deal with. My last CU experience was similar but full of hoops to jump through to avoid $250 fines. Like mandatory paperless billing, proving insurance every 3 months, pulling my credit every year for no reason, calling work to see if I still had a job, making me provide updated references, and on and on. I'm going back to the real banks, play time is over. To add to it the agents were condescending and their entire executive staff seems to never answer their phones and/or are on vacation.
