just to let everyone know..i did receive some of my money back..but not all of it. I had to go to my Congressman..and he helped me get it. I am really hoping that there will be a suit against these people. I will be glad to testify against them.
Why take advantage of anyone? What has happened to honesty and hard work?
Out of the 1125.00..i managed to get $850.00 from this company. The rest i am entitled to and that company knows it. Most of the money that they took..was for my husbands prescriptions..and he didnt even talk to them. I mention in casual to them, he was on meds and they were expensive. The girl asked me what they were..i told her two of them..thank God i didnt tell her all of them..
There was no packet sent back..no doctor saying what meds i needed..no signatures from either my doctor or myself...There no money supposed to be taken until they had all the proof that i was low income..and in need of help with medicines.
No advocate called me either..
Get in touch with your Congressman..have all your bank statements with you. Then let them handle it for you. I intend to go back and let my congressmans office know..by sending me a partial refund..they admitted their guilt.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I have spent some time going over your case with our Advocate Team, and I think that you will find the resolution to meet your expectations. I know that you signed up with our service and chose not to use it during your one year membership. We spoke on January 14, 2009 and I explained your membership to you. You were angry that you had signed up for a one year membership and then forgotten about it, just as you state above in your own words. What you did not say in your words above is you complained to the Better Business Bureau and Select Care responded quickly to your complaint. Select Care even offered mediation through the Better Business Bureau but you declined. It is very unfortunate that you chose not to take advantage of your membership. Select Care could have stopped drafting you at any time during your membership had we just heard from you, but you never called or sent a letter during your membership. When you finally contacted Select Care, we did stop your monthly membership dues. I am surprised that you signed up for a one year membership and then chose to merely forget about everything and never call us when the draft on your account clearly stated Select Care. We do regret the experience that you had when you were a member. We are certainly happy to offer you a free 6 months of membership. We are confident that in this time period of using your membership, you will not only receive your medications but also be very happy with our ability to assist you in receiving your medications. If you are on Medicaid, then simply send proof of when it started and Select Care will refund you back to that date. Please contact us at 512-406-5057 so that we can get you started.
