Complaint Review: Shaffer Engle Law Harrisburg PA -

 I contacted this firm due to a false PFA that was filed against me in Dalphin County, Pennsylvania. Shaffer & Engle Law firm was recommended by a Facebook Page associated with Innocent People Charged with False PFA's. Attorney Nichole Collins from the firm Shaffer and Engle blogs their frequently. The firm advertises a free consultation. A Consultation with Attorney Nichole Collins was not free. I paid her consultation fee. I retained Attorney Collins to represent me in a Custody Action. The Attorney, Crystal Craig, was contracted to protect me from the false PFA that was filed against me. Attorney Craig was confident that this issue would be resolved favorably, and in my favor. I had preexisting plans to be outside of the country when the court action was ordered. Attorney Craig did an excellent job in rescheduling this action and we had discussed what was going to be done to defend me from this Abuse of Process. False PFA's are very common, especially in Pennsylvania, where those with knowledge of how to abuse the process easily granted a false PFA . This is wrong, so wrong and needs to be fixed. I will be a voice in correcting this injustice. I was born in the United States and no citizen of our great country should ever be deprived of our constitutional rights. False PFA and you are guilty. How easy is it to get a PFA in Pennsylvania? Far too easy. If you are willing to lie, you get one by a judge that is to error on the side of caution. There are so many of these actions that you are treated as a number. PA, so unfair.

As for my experience, I retained Crystal Craig of the firm Shaffer and Engle to defend me. I felt good about my choice and my attorney made representations as to how I would be defended and what she was actions that were going to be initiated. When I entered the United States following my visit to Panama, I was retained in a room within the Miami International airport. Help me out President Trump, I thing you are great. No American should ever have to be treated as if they were a dangerous criminal. When I was finally released from detention, the mere inconvenience should not be anything. What's 3.5 hours and a night spent in an airport anyway? Can you say pure hell? If you want to know what pure hell is, retain the law firm of Shaffer and Engle. I paid them a lot of money and what they did to represent me was pathetic. They take your money and fail to honor their Contractible obligations.

I left messages for them to return my calls. They did not return my calls. Today I retained a new attorney to represent me. What Shaffer and Engle failed can not be reversed. I do not recommend this firm. They did not do what they were contracted to do. I have nothing good to say about this firm. They failed to respond and yes I can and will prove this. This is the tip of the iceberg and I have far more to say. They dropped the ball. And, they have not not only failed to honor their contractual obligation, they have failed to respond to my concerns. I am holding them accountable for what they did not do. I will be filing a complaint with their bar and most definitely will not reccomend them. I am extremely disssatified.
