Shaffer & Sons Heating & Cooling, LLC - SCAM, RIP OFF COMPANY - Amy the irresponsible owner SCAM, RIP OFF, INCOMPETENT COMPANY, UNSKILLED - STAY AWAY - Amy is an arrogant, irresponsible owner Glendale, Arizona
This is by far the worst company that I have ever dealt with. The owner Amy is by far the most arrogant and irresponsible business owner that I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with.
Amy has no idea how to operate a business, lacks basic appointment setting and customer service skills.
After my AC went out in 100 degree temperatures I contacted American Home Shield which dispatched Shaffer & Sons Heating & Cooling, LLC. They set an appointment for Friday July 6th between the hours of 10am - 2pm. Of course after suffering all night without AC I made it a point to call into work to make sure I was there to meet the repair tech.
They did not show up until 6:30pm in the evening, 6:30PM!!!! After calling and speaking to the owner Amy, she told me that it was just the way things go and was completly unapologetic and seemed bothered by me bringing this to her attention.
So the next morning July 7th I wake up to no AC. The tech didn't even repair the unit properly. After calling out a skilled and reputable company that I had to pay out of pocket they informed me that the tech did not secure the run cap and they just fell right out of the unit once it was opened. They also informed me that the tech failed to realize there was a noticeable leak coming from the schrader valve which is why all the freon leaked out over night.
This is a horrible company staffed by an irresponsible owner (Amy) and rookie techs that do not know how to diagnose and fix the most simple of issues. I'm not sure how American Home can contract such a poor company.
Being a business owner myself, I would never dream of treating my customers with such a lack of respect and poor customer service.
Beyond that, after being serviced by a reputable company and having them review my reciept, they advised that this company was charging and billing American Home Shield for services that were not done. They are a 100% scam operation.
This company is a disgrace and a scam!
