Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Why do you put escrow money on houses? To secure a home. One would think with assitants, email, text, a Face Book, Twitter and Linked IN Accounts that communication would not be an issue; it is with Shannon Caldwell and Josh DaShong and the staff of Keller Williams.

I put a contract on a home that had listed. According to my agent, the house just went live. We called a mulititude of times to get recordings and other agents saying "we dont have this house" or "what are you talking about". I suppose having a sign with your number and face on the sign is not enough. After a few days I was finally available to view the home. Fell in love ASAP! I gave them an offer in 72 hours of listing of thier asking price; 100%.

I began to work my end with the mortgage company. My agent began sending over documents back and forth to Ms Caldwell; standard contracts, making ammendments here and there on closing time and closing cost, etc. Standard stuff. All going thru and planned. Getting the home inspected and working with my mortgage company. I was not going to be approved due to self employed tax's and not quite enought time on the current job ( although same industry and going with FHA approval).

We terminated the agreement a day before the potential loss of my escrow money. The next day, both Mr DaShong and Ms Caldwell emailed my agent stating we were to late and "you should have emailed the seller not us". Bad ethics on this move. To further contiune Mr DaShong made an attempt to secure the escrow money from the title office; which was declined. And since he has done that and has advised his client other wise, my $2000.00 of escrow sits.

I have spoken to many in the business including lawyers, mortgage people, other agents and even normal business people. No one has ever seen this behavior.

If you want to get screwed by Keller Williams and Shannon Caldwell then free to do business. I'm letting a judge decide and I plan to not end this even after I am awarded. This is wrong and personally, with the net, you can buy your own home as long as you have the cash or approval. Cause these days, even with a contract, you still have to sue someone to do the right thing. Karma is coming Shannon- Watch out!
