Shaun is a real piece of work and talks Jesus in one sentence and then does not do what he promises he will do. I took a chance on him and I gave him every possible opportunity to complete the job properly. The whole job was a complete nightmare, and was never completed properly and I do not use that word lightly. It was a complete nightmare in every regard from decisions that he made, and it caused me to miss several weeks of work trying to keep this unruly band of bandits from destroying my residence. By the time I realized this, it was too late and I was just trying to get the job finished!
He certainly is a hard worker but needs serious training on how to work smart, manage people, and how to make good decisions. He is a hard head and does not listen to common sense. He spends 10 hours to save a dime that costs the job thousands and then complains how long the job is taking. He also has no credit and has bad realtionships with the concrete companies. Because I am too d**n nice and because he was trying so hard, I cut him way too much slack and should have brought him to the magistrate court, but he is basically pennyless and lives paycheck to paycheck. I have hired many so called independent contractors and had a few good ones but mostly bad. He has turned me off independent contractors for good!
From now on, no more so called independent contractors! I strongly suggest all people considering doing Business with Shaun to look instead at professional concrete construction companies. Save yourself the grief and the ability to get the job done properly. He has a bag of excuses and personal issues that should not be realted to the work at hand. I wish I had done a credit search on him, that is the true indicator of a serious contractor versus these fly by night contractors. STAY AWAY
