So I got up this morning and checked my emails as usual but I saw one in my primary folder that worried me it said legal notice. I figured it was spam but I checked just to make sure. It was extremely believable and to someone who is easily scared they probably would have emailed him back to pay the "outstanding amount:$ 865.75" to avoid charges being pressed against "your name and SSN in the next 24hours". I'm tired of getting these emails it's getting old that these people are trying to steal money and trick people. I hope that someone will stop these people who threatened me via email that if I didn't give them money they were going to file a lawsuit against me. And they referred to the Social security admin and major credit bureaus that they were going to contact about this. They said " if you fail to respond to us the Charges will be pressed against the name are 1. Violation of federal banking regulation act 1983 (c) 2. Collateral check fraud 3. Theft by deception (ACC ACT 21A) " and a max sentence of 3 years in prison with a fine up to $5825.35! Thank you for allowing me to file a report and I hope no one actually fell for these peoples scam
