Shelton Credit--Mark Shelton ,Shelton Credit/Mark Shelton & Joshua took hard earned money & never provided a loan as expected. Chicago, Las Vegas Illinois, Nevada
I searched for companies over the internet that could possibly help fund my business expansion project (before the market failed miserably) & submitted a $70 cashiers check for a $70,000 (approximate amount) in March 28, 2008 to be expedited (as he claims on his website--www.sheltoncredit.com;http://activerain.com/credit_broker ) when he was working our of his Chicago office (They supposedly have two offices--the Chicago address is merely a drop-off box--not a business).
I emailed to check the status of that loan & Joshua said that I couldn't do that type of loan, so I opted to go for a larger amount ($5,000,000 unsecured LOC-line of credit & strictly in the business name) and paid $8,995 with a cashiers check for them to build a business portfolio/business plan to submit to their vast member lenders. I wonder how they could have built this information with out knowing anything about my company--they never asked me any questions regarding my company--my gross revenues from previous years, or my current financial statement etc.
I had to initiate any email correspondence--they never emailed me first nor did they ever call to communicate anything with me (Only when my business partner--Cody called to demand an explanation as to what was going on with & how our money was being utilized.) After my initiations, they would snail mail me offers that I got from banks, but in the end, I never received any of the money that I initially applied for or was in hopes of. I don't feel that they did anything to get funds from lenders, as I never received anything showing that they were working on my file. They never provided me with proof that they actually wrote a business plan or anything that was supposedly added to make my company look outstanding to lenders.
In addition, this was done in March 2008 before the major plummet in the market, so I feel that I should have had a loan approved (before the market totally dropped) with their services if they are so great at getting funds and or a full refund of $9,070 for non-services.
They have yet to provide me proof of any correspondence with lenders or any proof of actually writing a business plan on behalf of my company--Pride Stucco and Stone, Inc. It has been almost a year & still no money to account for.
I would like a full refund of $9,070.00 from Shelton Credit C/O Mark Shelton
