Good Experiences with Shop Airlines

My husband and I have sold antique and contemporary glass and china on ebay for the past 19 years.

We have had MANY (over 30) transactions with Shop Airlines, and have dealt with Taku Takeuchi (smallfamilar - ebay user id) many times, as well as other representatives of Shop Airlines.

There has never been an issue - they buy, then send a courteous email requesting that items be packaged carefully, and that we write the auction number on the outside of the package so they can place it and identify it easily in their warehouse.

No problem - we always package items securely, whether they are traveling to California or Timbuktu. I've always been aware that the items we send will be forwarded elsewhere, and so careful packaging is a no-brainer.

I encourage people to do their own evaluations and not rely on reports here or anywhere else that slander business' names without hard evidence. There are lots of ebay sellers who don't really have a handle on how to package fragile items, and then blame the buyer for issues. Just keep that in mind.

I got caught up in the same mess by these people scamming and ripping off sellers on eBay. They are known to buy from you. Ship the item to different countries. Files for a refund because the item they shipped to a different country is damaged and eBay makes YOU the seller give the refund. How do we the SELLERS know the item was damaged. What makes me angry is eBay and PayPal lets them get by with scamming people and does absolutely nothing about it. The more I find out about eBay and PayPal the less I want to sell on eBay. I have researched about these people and they have numerous complaints for years now and no one is shutting them down. You are exactly right about how they use numerous eBay usernames. How does eBay allow them to create so many different names going to one account. The last time I checked, I believe eBay users are only allowed two different usernames. eBay has turned for the worse and it keeps getting worse. I honestly believe eBay and PayPal are both money hungry and allow this type of activity only to make profits. I also believe there are other people on eBay doing the exact same thing as these people do. eBay claims they have a seller protection policy that I yet have seen from other transactions that have gone wrong. One day eBay and PayPal will get what they deserve from ignoring great sellers.
