Shop America Network deceptive company victimized many consumers Miramar Florida
Shop America Network's marketing information states they use "effective and proven sales techniques." "Why choose Shop America Network? Because it works!"
My company paid SAN $13,900 to produce and air a 4 minute commercial spot for our product. In the 3 months we were on the air, we had only 2 sales. They broke our contract on atleast 4 points.
We were required to send them 4 samples of our product -we sent 35+ samples. The Customer Service Manager for SAN claims our samples were lost and that is why their call/order center didn't have them to refer to when we called in and asked for specifics on the product. In fact, the call center gave us incorrect details about our product.
Based on a broadcast list I was provided with, I believed that our commercial would be aired on such channels as PAX, UPN, and the Home Shopping Network. It appears that our commercial aired on low-powered stations that don't appear to broadcast more than 10 miles from the actual broadcast antenna.
I have talked to other business owners in the United States, as well as Germany and Canada, and everyone has had the same experience. I have not been able to locate a company that had more than 3 sales while on the Shop America Network.
I urge all business owners to practice extreme caution. We were initially contacted via internet by Shop America Network.
