Shopgoodwill.com Goodwill Shipping Costs are out of control Internet
I have a problem with the shipping and handling cost that fluxuate from one store to the next. There is no standard across the stores. I have inquired before about the shipping cost of a book, a single book, that through media mail would have only cost a few dollars yet through goodwill.com it was almost $17.00 with a $2.00 handling charge. Seriously?, I mean c'mon, the answer I received was that they don't use media mail. Again, seriously?, you don't use media mail? Why is it that everyone, including some of their own goodwill stores use media mail until someone questions the shipping cost. Media mail is there for a reason and that is to stop people or organizations from over charging for paper and video items that are sold to the consumer. Someone should really check into this if for no other reason than to see if they are telling the truth. It may surprise some people when they find out the truth.
