After 3 months and two failed attempts, Shoppers Advantage finally refunded my membership fee. Thank you Rip-off report.com!

I called their customer service again on 7/3/04 after neither receiving refund nor getting a response for my email that mentioned the rip-off report here. This time their story changed- they claimed that I called on 7/2/04 (which I didn't) and that my type of account is only eligible for a refund of one month's membership fee, the month I called. And they claimed that a request had been submitted on 7/2/04 to initiate the refund. And I should expect it to happen in the next 10-15 business days. There was no explanation for why such information was not given to me the last four times I called. Nor did they explain why I wasn't refunded at least the one month fee during the last two cancellation attempts.
