Hi Elizabeth I was wondering if you have ever received your belongings. I also am a victim of Signature. I have not seen all my belongings since 7/31/05. The company now claimed bankruptcy. I had to retain a bankruptcy attorney to try to obtain a court order for release (if my things are still there). If you received your items, was everything returned?

Last Friday a federal court in Virginia ordered an injunction against Signature Van Lines. Per the order Signature had 24 hours to return my household goods to me. It has been over a week and Signature has not responded. They gave the location of storage units in North Carolina and Pennsylvania but not the unit numbers. The owner is being difficult and does not return calls. I have moving companies in both states waiting for information so they can get my things. The owner of signature said she would mail the key and information on the unit in North Carolina but then called and said she did not mail the key. She is stalling now by saying she needs to get a release form signed and the person to sign it wasn't in the office today and may not be in tomorrow. These people at Signature are bad news and must be stopped. The attorney General's office in PA has told me that I am just one of several complaints filed against them. When will this nightmare end???

Elizabeth, the last I knew, your belongings were put into a storage unit in Durham, NC. As far as I know, your belongings are sitting there. If you would like, you can forward this info onto your attorney's to look into. Like I said before, anything I can do to help you, I will.

Elizabeth, don't worry hun, you will get your belongings back. It may take time for the law to handle it as these 2 women think they can rip off the world and laugh all the way to the bank! Their new address is 10 Industrial Park Drive Mt.Pocono, PA 18344 and the phone number is (570)895-4500. I am working now to try to put these crooks out of business, as I am also a victim of their shady practices. I worked there for exactly one week, just long enough to help them get situated in the new office, and find out the dirt on them, and they fired me. I have since learned that they are not only robbing the customers, they are also robbing the employees as well. I am fighting now to get my paycheck from them. They refused to give it to me. If I can be of more help to you, please let me know, I would be more than happy to help sink this sickening ship! Oh and Elizabeth, as far as them telling you that the credit card machine is broken, how do you break something you don't have! They were calling into a credit card company to process all the charges, and it has since been closed out because they were fraudulently charging peoples credit cards for these padded bills of laiding!

It's been three weeks since signature Van Lines pulled up to my storage unit packed everything I own in the world and drove off. Thanks to the MOVE RESCUE people I have an attorney working on my behalf to get my belongings back but so far Signature Van Lines has not responded. Additionally the Attorney General's office in PA has become involved on my behalf but how do you find a company that seems to have disappeared into thin air? This has been incredibly stressfull for both myself and my young son. We are in a new town in a new home that is completely empty. Everything we own has been taken from us. We wait everyday for news but nothing positive comes. We have no idea where our things are and everyday I'm forced to face the possibility that we may never see them again. How can these crooks get away with this? They were operating without a license when they took my things and were not insured as required by law. I paid them what the law requires that I pay them to deliver my things yet I still don't have them. They are committing extortion and theft of property yet the Department of Transportation suggests I pay them the extortion and sue them later!!!!!! Someone please explain to me how law enforcment can not make them give me my belongings!!!!!!! I can't afford the extortion money!!!
