Simon gift cards had a representative call me and I told her what happened. She said she would look into it and later, I got an email saying that I would be sent a new one. I have received it and it has its full value. It took a while, but now the ripoff has been resolved.

Since then I have sent multiple emails to their customer service center, all of which have been ignored.
