LIKE THE OTHER REPORT FILED, I HAD ALMOST THE EXACT SAME EXPERIENCE.  THE VEHICLE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PICKED UP IN FLORIDA AND DELIVERED TO CALIFORNIA WITHIN 6 DAYS.  ON THE SCHEDULED PICKUP DAY, A TRUCK NEVER SHOWED UP NOR DID I RECEIVE A CALL TO LET ME KNOW THE STATUS.  I CALLED AND WAS TOLD HE WAS RUNNING BEHIND AND IT WOULD BE THE NEXT MORNING AT 9 AM.  THAT DEADLINE CAME AND WENT WITHOUT ANY CONTACT FROM THE COMPANY SO I CALLED AT NOON AND WAS TOLD 5 PM.  THAT DEADLINE CAME AND WENT SO I HAD TO CALL AGAIN AND WAS TOLD THE NEXT DAY (SATURDAY) BY 1 PM.  THAT DEADLINE CAME AND WENT WITHOUT CONTACT FROM THE COMPANY SO I CALLED AND WAS TOLD MONDAY.  AT THIS POINT I SHOULD HAVE TRUSTED MY INSTINCT AND CANCELED BUT I WAS ON A NOW EVEN TIGHTER SCHEDULE BECAUSE THE CAR HAD TO BE DELIVERED NO LATER THAN THE FOLLOWING SUNDAY (6 DAYS FROM MONDAY).

THE TRUCK FINALLY SHOWED UP IN FLORIDA MONDAY EVENING AND I WAS TOLD REPEATEDLY THAT THE CAR WOULD BE DELIVERED TO CALIFORNIA NO LATER THAN SUNDAY.  I REITERATED THE IMPORTANCE AS THE RECEIVER HAD AN OVERSEAS FLIGHT SCHEDULED FOR THE FOLLOWING MONDAY.  "NO PROBLEM, I PROMISE IT WILL BE THERE ON TIME" I WAS TOLD.

THE SUNDAY SCHEDULED DELIVERY DATE CAME AND WENT WITHOUT ANY CONTACT FROM THE COMPANY OR DRIVER.  I CALLED NUMEROUS TIMES AND COULDN'T GET AN ANSWER FROM THE DRIVER OR THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY.  NEEDLESS TO SAY THE RECEIVER WAS NOT HAPPY AND HAD TO CANCEL HIS FLIGHT.  THE NEXT DAY I CALLED REPEATEDLY AND FINALLY GOT AN ANSWER FROM THE COMPANY OWNER WHO TOLD ME THE TRUCK'S AXLE BROKE AND IT WOULD BE 1 TO 2 MORE DAYS UNTIL DELIVERY.  2 DAYS WENT BY AND NO DELIVERY. LONG STORY SHORT, OVER THE NEXT 2 WEEKS I WAS TOLD ONE LIE AFTER ANOTHER.  JUST BLATANT LIES LIKE THE TRUCK IS IN PHOENIX AND LEFT AT 6 AM AND WILL BE AT THE CUSTOMER'S PLACE AT 9 PM TONIGHT- NEVER HAPPENED. THE CAR WILL BE THERE TODAY FOR SURE- DIDN'T HAPPEN.  THE TRUCK IS 3 HOURS FROM DELIVERY- NOT TRUE.  THE TRUCK IS 2 HOURS AWAY- NOT TRUE.  THE DRIVER GOT A TICKET AND HAS TO STAY AT THE TRUCK STOP FOR 10 HOURS BUT IT'LL BE THERE FIRST THING IN THE MORNING- NOT TRUE.  I WAS TOLD AT LEAST 9 TIMES ON 9 DIFFERENT DAYS, "IT'LL BE THERE TOMORROW FOR SURE".  I HAVE 32 PAGES OF TEXTS MESSAGES FULL OF AT LEAST 50 LIES ABOUT THE DELIVERY ALONG WITH THE HUNDREDS OF PHONE CALLS I MADE.  NEVER ONCE DID THE OWNER OF THE COMPANY CALL ME TO LET ME KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON OR WHY THE DELIVERY WASN'T MADE ON ANY OF THE 20 PLUS DELIVERY TIMES HE PROMISED.

THIS SITUATION CAUSED SLEEPLESS NIGHTS AND INCREDIBLE STRESS AND THE COMPANY OWNER COULDN'T SEEM TO CARE ANY LESS.  ONE DAY AFTER THE DELIVERY WAS ALREADY 10 DAYS LATE, HE ACTUALLY ANSWERED MY TEXT WHEN I ASKED WHERE THE CAR WAS BY SAYING "HOW ARE YOU ON THIS BEAUTIFUL DAY?"  HE THEN PROCEEDED TO IGNORE MY CALLS AND TEXTS FOR A FEW HOURS BEFORE LYING AND SAYING IT WOULD BE DELIVERED THE NEXT DAY "100%".  IN MY OPINION THE BEHAVIOR HE EXHIBITED FOR 3 WEEKS IS SOCIOPATHIC AND PATHOLOGICAL. I'M NOT A DOCTOR BUT THERE APPEARS TO BE A SERIOUS FLAW IN THE CHARACTER OF A BUSINESS OWNER WHO CAN FLAT OUT LIE TO YOU MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY FOR NEARLY 3 WEEKS.

OTHER TRANSPORTERS EVEN CONTACTED ME FROM AROUND THE COUNTRY BECAUSE APPARENTLY NEWS TRAVELS FAST AND THEY HAD HEARD AOUT MY SITUATION.  THEY ALL HAD SIMILAR STORIES TO SHARE AND EVEN PUT THE WORD OUT TO HAVE OTHER TRUCKERS LOOK FOR THE TRAILER MY CAR WAS ON.  NOT KNOWING WHERE YOUR CAR IS FOR 2+ WEEKS AFTER SCHEDULED/CONTRACTED DELIVERY IS TORTURE AND I DON'T WISH IT ON ANYONE.  I DIDN'T KNOW IF IT WAS STOLEN, DAMAGED, OR WHERE IT WAS AND IT WAS BRUTAL.  i SPENT MY ONE DAY OFF A WEEK CALLING HIS INSURANCE COMPANY TO FIND OUT THE PROCEDURE TO FILE A CLAIM IF THE CAR NEVER SHOWED, RESEARCHING THE DOT WEBSITE FOR ANY INFORMATION, AND TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHAT TO DO IN ADDITION TO EVERYTHING ELSE WHILE AT WORK.

I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU TO AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!  YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW GUT-WRENCHING IT IS TO BE IN THIS SITUATION AND YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW.  STAY FAR AWAY!  IF THE SERVICE FROM THIS COMPANY WAS FREE I WOULDN'T USE THEM.

Looks like the company is also working under the name of Car Collection LLC

 

PLEASE FILE A COMPLAINT AGAINST THEIR FMCSA FILE.

We can always hope to stop them from getting yet another name and DOT/MC #
