For the last 3 or 4 months we are not getting reception in the Harrisburg area. The receiver has "aquiring signal." I called customer service and told them about the problem and they told me it was my antenna. I went out and bought a new atenna and it still does not work. Then on the local news they had a report that the repeaters in the are are turned off because of some licensing agreement.

I called Sirius to see when it was going to be resolved and they had no idea what I was talking about. I asked to talk to a manager and they actually said no! I said "I'm I being punked? How can you say no?"

They have the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. To this day I still cannot receive a signal. I only got Sirius to listen to Howard. Plus the fact that he works 4 days a week and if there is a holiday thrown in there, he is off that Monday and Friday. I have a credit on my account until they fix the problem, but the question I have is, if they can pay Howard $500 million plus $83 million bonus, how can they not fix the repeaters?

Harrisburg Repeater Update

"The terrestrial repeater that serves the Harrisburg area is temporarily off. Since the repeater is offline, subscribers might experience some degradation in service, particularly with indoor reception where they don't have a view of the satellite. We are working to restore the repeater. For indoor reception, SIRIUS subscribers can also access SIRIUS programming via the Internet at SIRIUS.com. It might be important to note for your viewers: Any SIRIUS subscriber experiencing reception problems can and should call our customers care line, 1-888-539-7474, for a credit to their account. They need only identify themselves as being in the Harrisburg area." That is an exact copy of what is available on the news as reported by Sirius. I'd like to get in contact with you to help you restore your service. I didn't get Sirius because of Howard, I originally had XM first and switched to Sirius to listen to music without a thousand commercials being bombarded at me. Please contact me so we can get your service working again. Even with a repeater down, you should be able to get live SAT reception.
