Skidmore's Sports Supply Shipped used & broken items Crystal River Florida
We ordered two stadium seats. They arrived but one was broken (plastic spacers/washers)and the parts were not in it's plastic bag indicating it was broken before shipment. The other had no plastic bag and the labels were torn off indicating it had been used and the cushion had a long tear making it unusable.
Upon contacting this vendor he tried to get us to blame UPS for damaging the items during shipment. This was obviously not the case and we refused. We then had to return the items at our expense ($13.00+), write several e-mails and threaten to take the matter to dispute with VISA before he credited our account. He never did, despite sending the bill, credit us for the return shipping charge.
Mr. Larry Skidmore's attitude and curt messages throughout this entire episode was one of arrogance and fraud. A truly undesireable vendor to do business with. Never again. I'm writing this report to help others avoid this vendor.
