I have been having many problems trying to get $28.75 (I know it's not a large amount) back from Skype and have been told after 3 months of lies by customer services that they cannot refund the money, or put it back onto my account.

Sound like theft? It is!

I had an Unlimited world account with them and they cancelled it when they made changes to the rules, in that no free skypein numbers are given as a part of the package. At this point I cancelled the unlimited world package and got a refund, that was ok, but I also had credit on my account and I had colsed my PayPal account in Germany and opened one in England.

I contacted Skype to say I had not received the money back and they then went into a 3 month chain of lies. and the final outcome:

Hello Lee,

We have understood your answer and we are very sorry to know that you can not open your PayPal account again. We inform you that we don't have access to this option.

We are extremely sorry but beside the refund from Skype side we can not do further to solve this problem. Feel free to contact us again for any other issue. Again we apologise for all inconvenience.

It seems to me the incompetence of customer services is beyond a joke.

Do not trust this company, I have seen many other complaints against them for fraud and theft.
