Smartsavingscenter.com Hotmoviesale.com smartsavingscenter.com ripped me off for 5 months! Over $55! Boca Raton Florida
I ordered a movie from hotmoviesale 5 months ago. Just this month i noticed charges on my credit card ranging from 9.99 to 14.95 for the last 5 months! It stated it was being withdrawn by smartsavingscenter
I called the company and asked what the charges were from and they told me it was from ordering the dvd and i that there was a 7 day trial that i was signed up for (unknowingly to me) , for smartsavingscenter and that i had to cancel it during that 7 day period or i would be charged, which she said the information about the trial was in an email they sent me, which i never received.
On the hotmoviesale receipt and conformation is does state there is a 7 day trial for smartsavingscenter (hidden on the bottom of the receipt where no one looks!), but no where does it state they will continue to charge your credit card.
I did get the membership cancalled, but they would not refund me any of my money back and the lady on the phone was very rude about it.
Watch out for these companies! Very bad business!
