Smith Chev Olds Limited, Kamloops B.C. we negotiated the truck @ $27ooo. and they changed the numbers on use Ripoff Kamloops British Columbia
We were ripped off by Smith Chev Olds, by them changing the numbers in our contract. When my Husband Darrell Bob and I were approached by salesman Peirre Roy about trading in my 1999 Chevy s10 for a newer and bigger truck we choose a 2004 silverado 4x4 that had the sticker price of $27910.00 on it. My husband bargained with Peirre that we would take the 2004 if he would give me $14000.00 for my s10 because that would pay the difference I owed on the s10. On the contract where it says price of the vehicle they marked it up to $40910.00 instead of the $27910.00. We met with the sales manager on Friday June 23 /06 @ 3:53 because he was late for our original appointment secheduled for 3:30pm that day. Upon our discussion about the mix up they made we were meet with deaf ears and ended up ealking out of there with no results. I had telephoned GMAC the company who I'm financing this truck with to ask them if there still is a lein on the 1999 s10 I previously owned and their reply was NO. I asked them to send a letter to me stating that their is no longer a lein on the 1999 s10, which smithchev olds is also charging me to pay for.
During our discussion with the sales manager he quoted that the original price of the 2004 truck was $38000.oo, which was the first time we heard that number and it was not mentioned during the day of purchasing the truck. We also noticed that the where the $27000. priced was marked on the salesmans worksheet was whited out and the price of $38000. was put there.
